Namma Choice – Seller Terms & Conditions

These Seller Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Namma Choice (OPC) Private Limited (“Platform,” “We,” “Us”) and any individual, artisan, craftsperson, or business (“Seller,” “You”) registering to sell products through the Namma Choice platform.

By registering as a Seller, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

1. Who Can Sell with Namma Choice

1.1 Sellers may include rural artisans, traditional craft makers, home-based entrepreneurs, farmers, small businesses, and registered companies.
1.2 We welcome both individual and group-based seller registrations (e.g., SHGs, cooperatives).
1.3 Sellers must provide accurate personal/business details for verification.

2. Our Commitment to Rural Art & Culture

2.1 Namma Choice supports the preservation and promotion of rural art, traditional crafts, and cultural heritage.
2.2 Sellers are encouraged to provide authentic, handmade, and ethically sourced products.
2.3 Any misrepresentation of products as “handmade” or “authentic” when they are not is strictly prohibited.

3. Your Responsibilities as a Seller

3.1 Maintain accurate product descriptions, prices, and availability.
3.2 For handmade items, clearly mention any variations due to craftsmanship.
3.3 Ensure safe and eco-friendly packaging where possible.
3.4 Deliver orders on time and handle customer queries promptly.

4. Product Listings & Restrictions

4.1 Prohibited items include counterfeit goods, unsafe products, and items violating cultural or community values.
4.2 Products should comply with local quality, health, and safety standards.
4.3 Namma Choice reserves the right to remove listings that do not meet platform guidelines.

5. Fair Pricing & Payment

5.1 Sellers must set fair prices that reflect the value of their work while staying competitive.
5.2 Payments will be made on a scheduled basis after deducting platform fees and commissions.
5.3 We may provide guidance on pricing for rural crafts to ensure fair compensation.

6. Orders, Returns & Disputes

6.1 Sellers must pack and ship products within the committed time.
6.2 For handmade or custom items, clear timelines should be shared in advance.
6.3 Returns and refunds will follow Namma Choice’s policy, with special consideration for unique handcrafted products.

7. Cultural & Intellectual Property

7.1 Sellers retain full rights to their designs and creations.
7.2 By listing products, sellers grant Namma Choice permission to use product images and descriptions for promotion.
7.3 Sellers must not copy or infringe other artists’ work.

8. Termination & Suspension

8.1 We may suspend or terminate a seller’s account for fraud, repeated late deliveries, or policy violations.
8.2 Sellers may request account closure with 14 days’ written notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

Namma Choice is not liable for indirect losses, such as loss of income, due to platform use.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to the jurisdiction of Belagavi, Karnataka courts.
